Does anyone still support Israel? Message by Steve Martin

Does Anyone Still Support Israel?
If you listen to the worldwide news today, on any media platform, you just might think Israel is the “bad guy” (again, as seemingly always the scape goat) and there is no one left who supports Israel and the Jews.
Whether you read websites, listen to YouTube and podcasts, or go to a church where anything and everything is “preached” except the eternal truth that the Creator chose His Chosen People…you would think that Israel doesn’t exist; it has no relevance in people’s lives; or the Lord is “done with Israel and the Jews” because “they are the ones who killed Jesus.”
The once very popular conferences, where Christians and Messianics gathered in large numbers to rally around Israel and our Jewish friends are either no longer happening or are sparse in numbers.
Why so?
Even as the Lord trimmed Gideon’s army down to 300; even as the multitudes gathered around Yeshua in His earthly days and then dropped in number to 12 (and even they denied or hid…after the crucifixion); and even as the numbers of support continue to rapidly fall in our day…the Lord still sits on the throne and says, “These are My chosen people. They are mine and I will keep them.”
“From the standpoint of the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but from the standpoint of God’s choice they are beloved for the sake of the fathers; for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.” Romans 11:28,29 NASB
This verse is often used for other purposes but it is talking primarily about the Jews.
As we travel in and around Texas, Christian Friends of Israel Jerusalem are finding a strong remnant of believers supporting Israel.
I count myself among them.
Ahava and Shalom,
Steve Martin

"They Love Too" by Steve Martin
They Love Too
One of the joys of traveling in ministry is meeting new people. Especially those who are halfway across the USA in the state of Texas.
On Monday, while with our Christian Friends of Israel ministry team, I met and spent time with three couples (one my age in their 70s and two the age of my children, in their 40s) at a home meeting of about 24. (It was a big house. Yes, everything is big in Texas as they say.)
I like their names. I particularly love their heart for the Lord Jesus and thus their hearts for Israel and His Chosen people the Jews.
Ben is married to Cristen (her spelling.) James and Jamie are almost newlyweds (in their 70s.)
Thomas is from Pennsylvania but moved to Dallas 50 years ago. (Says he is not an NFL fan, so no Dallas Cowboys support there.) His wife Julie treasures him. (Just an observation.)
I gave them each a copy of my 40th book, “Back To Jerusalem”, being we had been talking about the red heifers in Shiloh, with a chapter in the book, with an abundance of photos of course!
Laurie and I had the joy of seeing the four red heifers, originally Texan cattle, now in Israel, in December 2025. I was able to interview their keeper, Larry Borntrager, a Mennonite from Indiana, and write of him also in a full chapter.
These are good people who support Israel too.
They continue to learn of the Lord’s heart for the Land and those He has, and continues to, bring back, to their promised Land.
As believers, He has chosen us to lift up Jewish arms and bring His love to them. Blessing them brings blessing to us.
“Comfort, O comfort My people,” says your God.” Isaiah 40:1
As we continue to travel this vast land of Texas, taking His Word of support as Christians for the Jews and our comforting work in Israel, His Holy Spirit, Ruach HaKodesh, is directing our steps (and loaded van) to meet more who love Him, and love His people.
Be blessed as you do the same.
Ahava and shalom,
Steve Martin
